The best 6th, 7th and 8th grade football players in Idaho square off in this once in a lifetime Bowl Game!

The Ronald McDonald House Charities

A portion of the proceeds will help benefit The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho or RMHC provides housing, food, transportation and support for families with ill or injured children being treated at Medical facilities in Ada County.

While doctors are focused on taking care of sick kids, RMHC of Idaho is focused on taking care of the family. The 48 room house, located in downtown Boise, provides round-the-clock services to families, allowing them to better focus on their ill or injured children. RMHC of Idaho uses donations to help ease the financial burden of families with ill or injured children by providing a safe comfortable place to stay, food, laundry services and transportation to and from local hospitals for care.

Instead of charging an entry fee to watch the games we are asking for a donation to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, donations can be in the form of money, clothing, non perishable pantry items, toys for children or gift cards to local businesses. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho will let us know their needs later this spring and we will let you all know exactly what type of donations to bring on game day!

More Than A Bowl Game

This event was created in memory of Hank Anderson, son of of the Idaho Bowl director’s close friends. Hank was born with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, a rare heart defect, in June 2021 and passed away in December of that year while awaiting a heart transplant. Hank’s parents, who are originally from Boise, experienced the support of Ronald McDonals House Charities during their 7-month stay in Salt Lake City, Utah while their son was being treated.

They were far away from the support of family and friends at home, but RMHC provided them with housing, food, transportation, clothing, therapy, and toys for Hank during their stay. The RHMC did this all FREE of charge allowing the Andersons to focus on Hank and not be burdened with the looming costs of being away from home for such an extended period of time.

This event will carry on Hanks memory and no doubt inspire others to donate their time or resources to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which will allow them to continue helping families in need.

The Experience

The Idaho Bowl is an invite only bowl game. All players selected have been evaluated through film and hand selected by our Idaho Bowl selection committee.

Players will meet and play with other all star athletes from every corner of the state!

Teams are not divided by geographical boundaries or school divisions, but by grade. Athletes will play with and against other all stars in the same grade level from every corner of the state! This means players from Northern Idaho could potentially be on the same team as players from Eastern Idaho and 1A athletes will play along side 5A athletes!

The Idaho Bowl is more than just a football game. Not only do the athletes play the sport in which they excel, but will receive high quality coaching and meet, practice and play with the best athletes in the state.

We will spend 4 days and 3 nights at Boise State University! Staying in the dorms, eating at the cafeteria and enjoying the college experience. This experience will create life long memories and friends for those athletes involved.

Each night athletes will get the opportunity to listen to dynamic guest speakers from former NFL stars, professional athletes, motivational speakers and experience great entertainment from past America’s Got Talent performers to animal experts!!
