A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Laif Morrison - Executive Director & Founder - The Idaho Bowl
The Idaho Bowl is more than football — it’s about growth, connection, and becoming part of something bigger.
Athletes from every corner of the state — over 82 high schools represented so far — have taken the field in the Idaho Bowl. The friendships formed here and the confidence built here will last long after the final whistle blows.
Our mission is to give every athlete a Division I-style experience — with high-level coaching, media exposure, and opportunities to learn from college and professional athletes, motivational speakers, and leaders who inspire greatness. We believe the Idaho Bowl helps shape stronger athletes, better teammates, and future leaders.
A huge part of that mission is giving back. Each year, the Idaho Bowl proudly partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, collecting thousands of dollars and essential supplies to support families with children receiving medical care.
Instead of charging admission, we invite fans to donate — teaching our athletes that real leadership extends beyond the field.
We have since become one of RMHC Idaho’s largest donors of material items!
As a lifelong Idahoan and former high school head coach — honored with multiple Teacher of the Year and Coach of the Year awards — I’ve dedicated my career to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. It’s my honor to bring this event to my home state. Over the past decade, I’ve built large-scale youth bowl games in Oregon that create exposure, growth, and unforgettable experiences for young athletes.
Now, we’re building something truly special right here in Idaho.
Thank you for trusting us with your athlete’s experience. My team and I are committed to making this an unforgettable week — one filled with pride, energy, purpose, and lifelong memories.
See you this summer,
Laif Morrison
